Growth Entrepreneurship and Employment Promotion (GEEP) Program

Nepal faces an employment crisis as thousands of youth are forced to leave the nation daily for foreign employment, often in hazardous work conditions, to support their families. As Nepal advances to become an aged society by 2061, we must capitalize on the demographic dividend and secure a prosperous future today.

Daayitwa Growth Entrepreneurship and Employment Promotion (GEEP) Program accelerates rural enterprises for boosting employment and income growth in rural Nepal. GEEP is executed through a partnership among Daayitwa, provincial governments, local governments and the Nepali diaspora.

GEEP’s objectives

  1. Accelerate growth-oriented rural enterprises

  2. Build state capability for effective policy implementation
